Rocky was born on January 28,1960 in Amarillo to A B Sr. and Juanita Towery. He remained in Amarillo throughout his life, working as a mechanic, maintenance of way at Santa Fe Railroad, street repair for the City of Amarillo and in transportation for Affiliated Foods and was currently employed with Jax Transports. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching wrestling as well as fishing and having BBQs with family. He cherished family gatherings and specifically loved Christmas because of the memories he was able to make with his family. Rocky cherished time spent with his grandson, "Hootie" (Matthew Cook) playing and enjoying life together. Rocky is survived by his wife, Mary Guenther of Amarillo; 3 daughters, Elizabeth Walden, Melissa Garza and Lisa Garza; step-children, Miranda Dominguez and husband Marcus, Billie Hudson, Susan Clark and husband Cody, Lisa Lahr and Jennifer George and husband Josh; brother, Russel "Rusty" Towery and many grandchildren and great grandchildren left to cherish his memory.
