It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Aaron Daniel Woodard, who left us far too soon on March 31, 2026, just ten days after his 36th birthday. Born on March 21, 1990, in Amarillo, TX, Aaron was the beloved son of Gregg and Judy Woodard and was raised surrounded by the warm community spirit that Amarillo is known for.
Aaron was a proud graduate of Amarillo High School, class of 2008, and spent most of his career as a skilled glass glazer. His talent and hard work were a testament to his character, but it was his kindness and compassion that truly set him apart. Aaron had a knack for making everyone feel special, always putting others before himself, and his warm smile could brighten even the dullest day.
Outside of work, Aaron embraced his love for the outdoors. Whether he was hunting, fishing, or working on cars, he found joy in every moment spent beneath the open sky. In his spare time, you could often find him installing stereos and electronics, turning a simple car into a personal oasis of sound.
Aaron's family and friends will remember him not only for his talents and accomplishments but also for his caring nature and gentle spirit. He was a true people-pleaser, always ready to lend a helping hand, share a laugh and share interesting facts and trivia with others. He always loved picking out the perfect gift to give to those he cared for. He also enjoyed spending time with his niece and nephews.
He is survived by his parents, Gregg and Judy Woodard of Amarillo; sister, Lauren Reyna and husband Matt of Amarillo; grandmother, Mickey Macina of Shamrock; niece and nephews, August, Merritt and Baker Reyna; aunts and uncles, Robert Macina and wife Tracy of Castle Rock, CO, Teena Cornett and husband Rick of Enid, OK and Mark Woodard and wife Shann of Gilmer, TX as well as many cousins and his beloved dog, Tilly, left to cherish his memory.
Aaron was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lew and Glenda Woodard and his maternal grandfather, Dan Macina.
