With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Allen Lawson Connally, who left us on September 22, 2025. Born on May 22, 1973, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Allen made his way to Amarillo during his childhood, where he attended Randall High School and created countless friends that would cherish him forever.
Allen was known as a hard worker who dedicated his life to construction, roofing, and HVAC. He took pride in every project he tackled, always getting the job done with a smile on his face.
Allen had a passion for rock and roll and metal music, often found cranking up his favorite tracks while enjoying the great outdoors. He was a true outdoorsman at heart, and his weekends frequently included fishing and hiking. He cherished every moment of exploring nature, especially when it involved his beloved grandchildren, who would join him for adventures filled with laughter and joy. Allen also had a keen interest in collecting and shooting guns.
Family vacations to the ocean were some of his most treasured times, where he created unforgettable memories while soaking up the sun and dipping his toes in the waves.
Allen's spirit will live on through the many lives he touched with his warmth, humor, and unwavering love for family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Shannon Connally of Amarillo, Sierra Connally of Amarillo; Aaron Connally and wife Aspen of Canyon and Skylar Geist and wife Jami of Amarillo; sister, Amy Connally; 3 brothers, Richie Connally and wife Sharlotta of Joshua, TX, Russell Evans and wife Jessica of Amarillo and David Evans of Amarillo; mother, Kathy Morris and husband Scott of Arlington, TX; grandchildren, Sawyer Connally, M.J. Gundlach, Draedyn Garza, Kylee Garza and Bryan Garza and the mother of his children, Charity Connally.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Connally and son, Seth Connally.
