Annette was born on April 9, 1970 in Perryton to Kenneth and Alice Pope. She graduated from Tulia High School in 1987 before moving to Clovis, NM, Mt. Olive, NC, Marion, IN and eventually settling in Spearman. She received her cosmetology license, working as a cosmetologist but mostly devoted her life being a mother and caring for her family. She was an avid dog lover and enjoyed nothing more than time at home with her pets and family.

Annette is survived by son Zachery Widener and Courtney Hale of Pampa and 2 daughters, Ashley Widener of North Carolina and Alex Costner of Spearman; 2 brothers, Dan Pope and wife Elizabeth of San Antonio and Brad Pope and wife Claudia of California; 9 grandchildren and her beloved teacup yorkie, Cleo.
