It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Antonio Soliz, who left this world on September 23, 2025, at the age of 74. Antonio was born on November 9, 1950, in Plainview, Texas, to the late Paul and Consuelo Soliz. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents and brothers, Daniel "Black" Soliz, Baldomero Soliz, and a son, Paul Soliz.
Antonio is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Jennifer Soliz, and will be dearly missed by his siblings: Sylvia Crowder and husband Martin of Grand Prairie, Texas; Raynaldo Soliz and wife Roswitha of Lawton, Oklahoma; Jesse Soliz of Plainview, Texas; and Richard Soliz and wife Monica of Yukon, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Krystal Simon and husband Rudy; Elijah Valdez; Cameron Soliz; Carissa Soliz; and great-grandson Ezekiah Simon.
Antonio attended Plainview High School and later pursued his education at Oklahoma City Southwestern Junior College. He was an avid baseball player during his high school and collegiate years. Antonio proudly served in the United States Army from 1972 to 1978, after which he married in 1978. A passionate sports enthusiast, he loved attending games and cheering on his grandchildren at their various sporting events, never missing a Dallas Cowboys or Alabama football game.
Antonio's life was filled with joy, underscored by his love of fishing, golfing, dancing, poker, and spending quality time with his family. His warm demeanor and indomitable spirit left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
