Beau Sherwood, 43, of Amarillo passed away on January 5, 2025.

Beau was born in Dumas, TX to Benjamin and Carol Sherwood. He moved to Amarillo as a child, graduating from Palo Duro High School in 1999. He proudly worked as a firefighter in Plainview for several years, before settling in Amarillo. Beau was a jack of all trades, working several jobs, most recently as a photographer. He was a talented musician and enjoyed playing the guitar as well as playing with electronics such as drones and computers.

He is survived by son, Coal Sherwood of Amarillo; mother, Carol Sherwood of Amarillo; sister, Holly Shelburne and husband Billy of Amarillo and twin sister, Bambi Sherwood of Georgia; girlfriend, Kristen Clawson and her sons, Andrew, Nathan and Brayden of Amarillo; nieces, Aspen Worsham and husband Nathan of Amarillo, Bailey Frazier and husband Wayne of Amarillo, Piper Hankins and husband Don of Amarillo, Ashleigh Galloway and husband Mykell of Norman, OK and Morgan Savage and husband Cody of Amarillo; nephews, Jett Shelburne of Amarillo, Gunner Irwin and girlfriend Karli of Amarillo and Kyle Shelburne and wife J'Leigh of Amarillo; 3 great nieces, Adelyn, Heartley and Kinzley and 10 great nephews, Rebel, Tripp, Riot, Dagger, Stetson, Maverick, Keaton, Kingston, Wyatt and Easton.

Beau was preceded in death by father, Benjamin Sherwood; grandparents, Earl and Lila Markham; uncle, Dennis Sherwood and nephew Kaden Brumbalow.
