Billy Jack Owens, born on February 11, 1958, in Perryton, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026. He was the beloved son of Lyle and Clydean Gaither Bolan and a proud graduate of Perryton High School.
Billy Jack dedicated over 37 years of his life working at Kloeckners, where he not only honed his skills but also made lifelong friends who will remember him for his warmth and humor. He married the love of his life, Paula Story, on September 21, 1997. Together, they made beautiful memories that will forever be cherished.
An outdoorsman at heart, Billy Jack loved spending his free time camping, fishing, and riding motorcycles. He had a zest for life that inspired those around him, and he filled his days with laughter and adventure.
Billy Jack is survived by his loving wife, Paula Owens of Amarillo; daughter ,Tasha Warden of Amarillo; son, Marcus Story of Seattle, WA; 2 sisters, LaVeta of Portland, OR; 2 brothers, Gene Bolen of Fort Collins, CO and Dean Bolen of Memphis, grandchildren, Adam, Christopher, Ariel, McKenzie, Dinica, Savannah, Brooklyn, Paris; 2 great grandchildren, Araceli and Adrian; 4 nephews; 6 nieces, several great nieces and nephews as many friends who will miss him dearly.
