Obituary

Bo McCurdy Bryant, 86, of Amarillo passed away peacefully in his home unexpectedly on February 4, 2024.

Bo was born on December 6, 1937 in Tulia to Henry (Boots) and Rama Bryant. He moved to Muleshoe as a child, where he graduated in 1956. Bo attended West Texas State after high school. He worked for Production Credit in Dimmitt, TX as well as Bank of Southwest where he was vice President. Bo also worked as a bail bondsmen at Basden Bail Bonds for many years. He was a member of the Coors Cowboy Club. Bo, or "Bobo" as he was affectionately known, was known to be the most loyal of friends. He gathered with his friends at their Sunday breakfast club every week and could be found with his friends at the Broken Spoke in the evenings. He was hardworking, working all the way to the age of 86. Above all, he was a family man. He was a loyal and respected husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather to his family and friends.

Bo is survived by his wife, Melody Bryant of Amarillo; daughter, Belinda Tindell and husband Stephen; 2 sons, Brett Bryant and wife Dawnya and Blake Bryant; step-daughter, April Allen, all of Amarillo; 2 sisters, Jane Blackburn and husband Bobby of Shallowater and Carol Ann Adrian of Gunter, TX; brother, Jim Bryant and wife Anita of Lubbock; 4 grandchildren, Amber Bryant, Trevor Guy and wife Stacy, Tia Van Ryn and husband Jeremy and Barron Bryant and fiancé Kelly; 3 great grandchildren, Trey Guy, Tripp Guy and Legend Van Ryn; his beloved dog, Bailey and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him greatly.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
