Obituary

Bruce better known as "De" loved coffee and called it the nectar of God. He served honorably two tours in the Vietnam War. He would always say that he liked dogs but not people. As far as people go he was very selective and if you were in, you were in, if you were not well, just don't even try it. He had many dogs in his lifetime all of whom were special. His latest fur children were Jacob and Bella. He would call them the ying and yang. De loved freshwater fishing and would tell you that on his fishing trips he caught the biggest fish you ever seen. He loved riding his motorcycle, and even went on a couple bike runs. He retired from truck driving in 2020 and was proud that he had driven more than 3 million miles. In his retirement he drove the Shriners around whenever they called him to do so. If you're looking for a good word to describe De, then loyalty would be that word. He was a fierce protector. He was straight business and a man of his word. When you were in trouble, well you would know it by the one raised eyebrow and the look that you were about to get it. But truth be told, he was as sweet as a teddy bear. And he would tell you, if you're waiting on me, then you are backing up.
