Carol Lee Sherwood
September 19, 1951 – October 23, 2026
Carol Lee Sherwood, 75, passed away on October 23, 2026. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a special part of the lives of all who knew her.
Carol was a devoted mother whose love was shown through the many ways she cared for those around her. She was the kind of person who always made sure everyone was taken care of, often putting the needs of others before her own. Her family knew they could count on her, not only for the big things in life but also for the little moments that meant so much. Being a mother and grandmother was a special part of who she was, and the love she gave her family will continue to live on through generations.
Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Benny Sherwood; her son, Beau Sherwood; and her grandson, Kaden Brumbalow.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Holly Shelburne and husband Billy, and Bambi Sherwood.
She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Aspen Worsham and husband Nathan, Bailey Frazier and husband Wayne, Piper Hankins and husband Don, Gunner Irwin and fiance Karli , Coal Sherwood, Jett Shelburne, Kyle Shelburne and wife J’Leigh, Ashleigh Galloway, and Morgan Savage and husband Cody.
Her legacy of love continues through her great-grandchildren: Adelyn, Heartley, Rebel, Tripp, Riot, Dagger, Sabri, Wrenlee, Stetson, Maverick, Keaton, Kingston, Kinsley, Wyatt, Easton, and Wesley. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will forever hold memories of her close to their hearts.
Carol's family will remember her for the love she gave so freely and the way she was always looking after everyone. Though her presence will be deeply missed, the lessons she taught, the memories she created, and the love she shared will remain with her family forever.
She spent her life taking care of the people she loved, and that love will continue to take care of them for generations to come.
