Carson Ray Dockins, age 16, of Amarillo, TX, passed away on October 31, 2025. He was born on February 9, 2009, and in his sixteen years brought incredible light, creativity, and humor to everyone who knew him.
Our hearts are heavy as we remember and celebrate the life of Carson Ray Dockins. A son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, great-grandson and so much more.
Carson had a deep love for art and drawing, often spending hours sketching the world as he saw it. He was a fervent lover of music, he always had a headphone enjoying all his favorite music from current times as well as an appreciation for old school rock.
He was passionate about horror movies and anime, and recently discovered a love for working out and pushing himself to grow stronger.
Carson will be remembered for his unique imagination, his kind heart, and the quiet strength he carried.
Carson had a one-of-a-kind personality — clever, funny, and full of life. He had a way of keeping everyone smiling, whether through his quick humor, his creative mind, or the drawings that reflected the way he saw the world.
He was talented, artistic, and thoughtful, with a spark that made him unforgettable. Though his time here was far too short, his love and light will forever live on in everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his loving mother, Britnee Dockins; his father, Hayden Dockins; and his sister, Camille Dockins, who adored him deeply.
A celebration of Carson's life will be held on Sunday, November 9, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. at the Sunset Arts Center. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor and remember the joy, laughter, and love Carson brought into their lives.
