Cassie was born on December 21, 1974 in Bakersfield, CA to Mike and Kim Livingston. She moved to Barstow, CA as a child, where she graduated high school in 1992. She then came to Amarillo, where she proudly enlisted in the United States Army. There, she served in transportation, deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan, and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant in the early 2000's after 6 years of service. Upon discharge, she enlisted in the Alabama National Guard, serving 2 years. While in the military, she met Dwight Mitchell, who quickly became the center of her world. They were married on September 20, 2009 in Alabama.

Cassie had a big heart, she loved the people in her life deeply. She was an avid animal lover, caring for all pets, especially donkeys, pigs and horses. Above all, Cassie loved her family. She enjoyed spendingn time shopping with her mom and cherished her grandson, Ryder.

She is survived by her husband, Dwight Mitchell of Alabama; parents, Mike and Kim Livingston of Amarillo; 2 daughters, Kelly Mitchell and Rachael Mitchell, of Alabama; 3 sisters, Vanonda Kern and husband Russell of Utah, Kody Porter of Amarillo and Brianne Livingston of Utah; 2 brothers, Michael Stringer of Amarillo and Michael Livingston and wife, Lucy of Ontario, CA; grandson, Ryder Hunter of Alabama and several aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss her greatly.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
