Charles Arthur Case Jr., 61, of Canyon, Texas passed away Monday, January, 8, 2024.
He was born on February 16, 1962 in Greeley, Colorado to Charles Arthur Case Sr. and Elaine (Lapp) Case. Charles graduated from Eaton High School. Charles was a truly amazing man with a heart as big as Texas and a zest for life. Within that heart he carried extreme values some of which included a love for nature especially The Rocky Mountains, fishing, hiking and riding his motorcycle. Charles became a Certified Facilitator for The American Lung Association in which he used his passion for life and his own experiences to bless others and teach. He thoroughly enjoyed playing guitar and harmonica along with any other instruments he could get his hands on. To Charles family was everything and was most important to anything else in life. He was a master chef, who truly believed in learning something new every day and embracing his family's genealogy. He loved his country and there was no bigger patriot than Charles Case.
Charles is survived by his wife, Adina Case; his mom, Elaine Lapp- McDowell; two daughters, Jessica Janeiro and Charity Weir; three brothers, Douglas Case, Charles Case and wife Lacy and Arthur Case and wife Jessica; three sisters, Sherry Christensen and husband JC, Jennifer Moreno and husband Ryan and Tina Latham "Honorary sister"; seven grandchildren, Ocean Janerio, Hannah Janerio, Abby Carlysle, Gabriel Shepard, Morgan Shepard, Renee Weir and Dylan Weir; a great-grandchild, Jace Shepard and 10 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jacob and Louise Lapp, Chester Case and Lorene Weinmeister; his father, Charles Case Sr.; step-father, Bob McDowell; a grandson, Timothy Shepard; sister-in-law, Sharla Gayle Christian; his first wife, Cassandra Case and The Shepard twins.
