It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Charles McCraine Jr., who departed this life on June 22, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on July 12, 1950, Charles lived a life marked by service, dedication, and love for his family and country.

A proud Vietnam Veteran, Charles enlisted in the United States Air Force in December of 1970, serving until June of 1979. As a weapons control specialist, he exemplified the values of bravery and commitment, earning the respect of his peers and commanding officers. His military service laid the foundation for a remarkable career, culminating in a position at Microsoft Software, where Charles contributed significantly to the realm of technology.

Charles is survived by his beloved children, Charles Alex McCraine III and Karen Abdou, as well as his sister, Cynthia Archer, and brother, David McCraine. He will be remembered for his unwavering support and the joy he brought to those fortunate enough to know him.

In this time of loss, our hearts go out to his family, and we extend our deepest condolences. Charles McCraine Jr. will be dearly missed, but his spirit will live on in the lives he touched.
