Obituary

Charlotte Mae (Goldsmith)Eudy,71, of Amarillo, TX, passed away in her home on May 16, 2025. She struggled with health issues for the last months of her life, but she remained independent and faced these issues with her usual unique outlook on life.

Charlotte was the first born of Bill and Clara Goldsmith on February 3, 1954, in Clovis, New Mexico. She graduated from Dimmitt High School in 1972.

Charlotte married Tim Eudy on June 4, 1999, and they had a happy life together. They enjoyed camping and fishing. Charlotte was known for her generosity. She often opened her home to family and friends who needed a place to stay for a few days or even longer. She was the keeper of family history and could tell you which children belonged to which aunt or uncle as well as stories about them. She treasured pictures and memorabilia associated with family. She loved being outdoors, especially sitting by a fire. Reading was a passion for her, and she loved Stephen King and similar authors. Charlotte always had pets around- from cats and dogs to a pot-bellied pig. At the end of her life, her companions were two dogs. Zeva and Zeke. She loved these dogs and treated them like children. She was loved by many nieces, nephews, and other family members. Charlotte was a straightforward, tell you like it is, kind of person. She was honest in her opinions, extremely loyal to those she loved, and she will be missed greatly.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Eudy; parents Bill and Clara Goldsmith; sister, D'Wan Elam; brother, Keith Goldsmith; and son, Brice Goldsmith.

She is survived by her sister, Kathy Black of Amarillo; nieces-Tonya Shafer, Tabitha Black, and Kristin Gutierrez; nephews-Brandon Overby, T.J. Black, and Cody Elam. She is also survived by the stepchildren she shared with Tim: Timothy II, David, and Nicole Eudy.

A memorial service for Charlotte will be Saturday, May 31, 2:00 PM at the
