Connie Sue McKelva was born on February 26th 1948 to Constance Luther McKelva and Bernice Butcher McKelva in Fannin County Texas (Bonham).

She attended and graduated from Lockney Texas High School in 1966. She attended West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas where she met and married Danny Tyson Moore. Together they had three children Michelle, Heather, and Shane. They all have lived in Oklahoma City, San Antonio and Harlingen, Texas. Connie lived in Houston, Texas and spent some time in Greece. When she returns she lived in Amarillo, Texas and she was employed by Amarillo Answering service for quite some time. Connie loved making something out of nothing, she would frequent the thrift stores and find things she could repurpose. She loved to decorate and redecorate every holiday. She loved all of her four-legged friends very much. Connie left us with her mind still sharp and she made sure that it stay that way.

Connie is preceded in death by her mother and father and her brother Ricky McKelva McPherson.

She is survived by her three children and grandchildren: Leah and Ryan Copeland, Jordan, Eddie, and Jacob. Step: Jordan and Eric. She had four sisters and one brother: Mary Hodges, Rebecca Crosby, Donna Stewart, Terri Trimble and Milton McPherson.

Connie passed on November 26th 2024 at 10:21 p.m. at Northwest Texas hospital Amarillo Texas.
