Danny W. Poole, 36, of Amarillo passed away Monday, March 4, 2024.
Danny was born on May 15, 1987 in Amarillo to Robert and Donna Poole. He moved to Carrolton as a child and eventually Parker, Colorado, where he graduated high school in 2006. He was passionate about playing in the marching band, playing percussion instruments such as the marimba and the xylophone. His family and friends knew him to be quiet, yet funny, always kind and immensely intelligent. He enjoyed gaming and comic books. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his sister, who was his best friend. Together, they shared a love of music and frequent trips to the Great American Cookie Company followed by Starbucks drinks.
He is survived by his parents, Robert and Donna Poole, sister, Jennifer Poole; grandparents, Bill Ellis, Loretta Mayes and Nancy Ellis; aunt, Andrea Stiles; uncle, Mike Stiles and wife Kathleen; several cousins and his beloved cat, Sassy Britches.
Danny was proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bob and Bonnie Poole and maternal grandfather, Shelby Mayes.
