Debbie was born in Amarillo, TX on October 3, 1956 to Harvey and Wanda Miller on her brother, Kent's 5th birthday. She passed away in High Point, North Carolina at Hospice Home of High Point at the age of 68.
Debbie grew up in Amarillo, she graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1975, after her daughter, Sandy was born. She worked at Hastings Warehouse in Amarillo for 15 years, until moving to North Carolina in 2016. In North Carolina, she worked for Ralph Lauren and Sapona until 2020 when she started getting sick with breast cancer.
Her hobbies included puzzles, reading, painting, genealogy, fantasy type games and fishing. Debbie wanted to help other people by donating her body to science and then she will be cremated and her cremains will be scattered in a beautiful area of Shawna's choice.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Aimee Marie Pace; grandparents, Louis Harrison Schmidt and wife Mary Adeline Brannon Schmidt and Tom Dock Miller and wife Alice Lucille Harvey Miller and many aunts and uncles.
She is survived by two daughters, Sandy Rorebeck and partner Kevin Mayhue and Shawna Pruitt; two brothers, Kent Miller and wife Beverly and Dave Miller and wife Kathy; grandchildren, Brayden Rorebeck, Tyler Rorebeck, Morgan Winters, Breanne Winters and Riley Pruitt; nieces and nephews, Kristi Tollefson and husband Kyle, Mendi Miller and partner Jeff McPherson, Matt Miller and wife Katy, Sara Meynardi and all of their children.
Debbie has a long-awaited reunion with Aimee, who she is really looking forward to seeing again.
A Celebration of Life for Debbie will be held at a date in Amarillo.
