If one were asked to describe Denise in a few words, those words would definitely be caring and feisty. Denise was a well- respected nurse of thirty-six years. When her colleagues describe her, they mention a person who actually cared about her patients and went to great pains to ensure they received the best care.
She was alway crocheting and crafting gifts for those that she loved, while she was listening to her favorite music by Elivs Presley, George Strait, and the Dixie Chicks. As a mother and grandmother, she passed along her love of music, crafting, and dancing. She was always checking in and taking care of all of the people that she loved. She will be greatly missed by those who were fortunate enough to be in her life.
Denise Melton (Miller) is preceded in death by her father, D.V. Miller.
She is survived in death by: her mother, Velda Miller; two sisters, Melonia Simmons and Stacey Horton; one brother, Wayne Miller; daughter, Melissa Mata; son in law, Alex Mata; son, Nick Melton; daughter in law, Jessica Melton ;seven grandchildren, Breighanna and Philip Laub, Jaycee Mata, Brixon Salas, Austin Melton, Triston Cannon, Landon Melton; and three great grandchildren, Bre, Trinity, and Ashlynn Laub.
