Donna was born on April 14, 1957 in Odessa to Donald and Lillian Christine Norton. She was raised in Odessa, where she graduated from Permian High School in 1975. She then attended Texas State College, receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Education. Donna taught 4th and 5th grade in Andrews, TX for many years. She enjoyed sports of all kinds, supporting all of her daughters' sporting events and continued to travel to Permian High School football games with her mother as she was able. She was an avid shopper, enjoying frequent shopping trips and pedicures with her mom and was a country western music enthusiast and especially loved George Strait. Donna was also known for her elaborate love of all things Christmas. She enjoyed making Christmas crafts and decorations and Christmas shopping for all of her friends and family.

Donna is survived by her 2 daughters, Lauren Shaw and husband Landon of Amarillo and Ashlyn Duncan and husband Ryan of Midland; mother, Lillian Christine Norton of Houston; 2 brothers, Don Norton and wife Becky of Houston and Eddie Norton and wife Judy of Muskogee, OK and 3 grandchildren, Quaid and Barrett Shaw and Waylon Duncan.

She was preceded in death by her father.
