Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dreyson Kuns, a beloved son, brother, and friend who left us far too soon on December 9, 2025. Born in Amarillo on March 7, 2006, Dreyson was a shining light in our lives and an incredible human being. He graduated from Amarillo Collegiate Academy in 2024, but his impact on those around him lasted far beyond his years.

A lifelong Eagle Scout and proud member of Troop 87, Dreyson was always ready to lend a hand or make someone smile. Whether it was helping out in the community or sharing laughter with friends and family, he truly embodied the spirit of kindness. Dreyson cherished his "Mommy and Dre" days, relished long talks about life with his father Chase, and looked forward to Friday nights filled with movies and snacks alongside his beloved Grammy.

Family meant everything to Dreyson, and he was particularly close to his siblings, Jagger and Dalani. He also shared a special bond with his girlfriend, Morgan, creating countless memories together. Dreyson was known for his fearless approach to hot food challenges and his knack for movie trivia—he could always keep a crowd entertained. Dreyson was known for his incredible moves on the Dance Dance Revolution floor; he truly had moves that had never been seen. He always brought joy and excitement to everyone who watched him dance.

Dreyson's life will be celebrated in a gathering that will reflect his warm spirit and love for humanity. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Scouting America Golden Spread Council, https://donations.scouting.org/#/council/562/appeal/3772
