It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dustin Johnson, who left us too soon on March 22, 2026. Born on September 2, 1984, Dustin was a free spirit who loved life and embraced every moment outdoors, whether he was hiking in the mountains, chilling by the riverside, or even taking a plunge in the ice-cold waters. He had a deep passion for the oilfield and spent many rewarding years in that industry.

Dustin is survived by his loving mother, Sandra Johnson, and his sister, Crickett Johnson. He will also be missed dearly by his three beloved dogs, Zolar, Zepplin, and Davia. Dustin was a true friend to many, considering them not just buddies, but brothers and sisters he cherished dearly.

He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Dale Johnson; grandfathers, CB Smart and Dale Johnson; grandmothers, Arleta Smart and Joann Wagoner; his brother, Jason Smart; and his cousin, LB Johnson.

Dustin graduated from Randall High School and carried the warmth of his friendships and experiences throughout his life. His adventurous spirit and love for the great outdoors will always be remembered.

Rest in peace, Dustin. You'll be missed but never forgotten.
