Obituary

Dustin Scott Lovelady, 33 of Amarillo passed away March 23, 2024. Dustin was born in Amarillo on November 13, 1990 to Shannon Feliciano Lovelady and Travis Keith Lovelady. Dustin grew up loving the outdoors and started racing go-karts at the age of seven at Tri-State Speedway. Dustin eventually went on to become a crew chief for several drivers who raced at Route 66 Motor Speedway and loved being around friends and family at the race track. Dustin graduated from Amarillo High School in 2009 and moved to Lubbock in 2012 to attend college. In 2020 Dustin moved back to Amarillo and started working for Texas Sign and Design where he was able to express and share his love and passion for art. Dustin met his husband, Haygen Allen, in 2020 and the two were married on January 3, 2022. Dustin had the kindest, loving heart and had a special bond with his two dogs, Chewy and Lego.

Dustin was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Linda and Elmer "Jr" Lovelady of Amarillo; grandfather Pedro Gonzalez of San Juan Puerto Rico; great grandparents Mary "Nellie" and Elmer Lovelady of Amarillo; and William and Catherine Moore of Chicago, Illinois.

Dustin is survived by his husband, Haygen Allen of Amarillo; his parents, Shannon Lovelady of Amarillo and Travis and DeeDee Lovelady of Amarillo; his grandmother Jean Feliciano of Lady Lake Florida; step-grandparents Terri and Bob Noland of Amarillo; three brothers, Ryan Lovelady and Matthew Noland of Amarillo and Jeremy Lovelady of Denver Colorado; two sisters, Jacie Lovelady and Demi Lovelady both of Amarillo; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins whom will miss him dearly.
