Edna was born on March 2, 1943 in Brownsville, TX to William and Alma Powell. She moved to Amarillo as a child, where she worked many jobs, including, truck driver, waitress and seamstress. She was equally as devoted to her family as she was hard-working. She was an active member of her church, and a fierce prayer warrior. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening. She will be missed by many.

Edna is survived by her daughter, Marsha Pender and husband Tracy; 3 sons, Randy McKinley and partner Terry, Shawn Johnson and Darrell Johnson and wife Ashley; all of Amarillo; 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters; 1 brother; daughter, Donna Anders and son, Marvin McKinley.
