It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edward Martinez, who left us on October 18, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on March 7, 1964, in Los Angeles, California, Edward moved to El Paso, Texas, as a child, where he would go on to create a life full of love, music, and laughter.

Edward met the love of his life, Linda, at a Whataburger in El Paso, and together they raised three wonderful children. His family was his pride and joy, and his spirit will forever live on through them.

An avid San Francisco 49ers fan, Edward could often be found passionately cheering on his team. He had a deep love for heavy metal music and could frequently be seen rocking out on his guitar, sharing his passion for music with everyone around him. Edward also enjoyed the serenity of fishing, finding peace on the water when he wasn't jamming out or rooting for his favorite team.



He is survived by 3 children, Eddie Martinez, Alissa Martinez and Monica Martinez; sister, Linda Martinez, 2 brothers, Art Martinez and Louie Martinez; grandchildren, Ren Braelen, Avery Martinez and Brielle Martinez, Legacy Martinez, Bryson Martinez and Luxury Martinez; nieces and nephews, Aj, julian and Christian Martinez, Llene and Louis Martinez and Alex and Celeste Martinez.



He was preceded in death by his parents, Connie and Art Martinez and the mother of his children, Linda Martinez.
