In Loving Memory

Elaine Marie Ortez, 62, of Amarillo,Texas, passed away on Sept 29,2026 in the BSA Hospital. Elaine Ortez was born on December 2,1963 in Dalhart Texas to Stella Romero & Moses Romero. She was a beloved mother/grandmother/sister/aunt/friend and was known for sense of humor, strength, wildness and fun spirit overall. Throughout her life, Elaine Ortez enjoyed helping others, Gardening, Loved her family, Life, and so much more. She will always be remembered for making things beautiful.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Stella & Moses Romero and sister: Evelyn Rojas. She leaves to cherish her memory children: Leora Romero and Marie Ortez ,grandchildren: Lenora Sierra, Maliyah Romero, Ava Romero, Isaiah, Abraham, Mary Jane, Eve Buchanan, Malachi and Promise Ortez. great-grandchildren: Zuri & Zyla Wilson, Aziah Romero. siblings: Rick Romero, Ruby Keksi, and Manuela Elliott other loved ones: Ruben Romero, Moses and Davia Rojas, Crystal Romero, Dana and Laura Keksi along with many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.

A memorial service will be held October 2nd,2026 at Kathy's point. Address 2701 North grand street apt 1001. Time 3pm. You're welcome to take a memory to remember Elaine Ortez.
