Evangelina Venegas Solis, conocida cariñosamente por muchos como “La Güera Borja,” falleció en paz en Pampa, Texas, el sábado 22 de agosto de 2026, a la edad de 90 años.

Evangelina nació el 3 de noviembre de 1935 en Terrazas, Chihuahua, México. Fue una esposa amorosa, una madre dedicada, una abuela querida y una presencia muy especial en la vida de todos aquellos que tuvieron la dicha de conocerla.

Evangelina estuvo casada con el amor de su vida, José Venegas Guerrero Sr., en Juárez, México. Juntos construyeron una vida llena de amor, familia y momentos inolvidables que permanecerán en el corazón de sus seres queridos por muchas generaciones. Evangelina fue precedida en la muerte por su amado esposo.

Evangelina deja atrás una hermosa familia que llevará por siempre su recuerdo en el corazón. Le sobreviven sus hijos, Irene Peña, Martha Leal, María Elena Loera, José Venegas Jr., Lorenzo Venegas y Juan Antonio Venegas. Fue bendecida con 21 nietos, además de numerosos bisnietos y tataranietos, quienes fueron una fuente de gran alegría y orgullo para ella.

Su familia la recordará no solamente por los años que compartió con ellos, sino también por el amor, la fortaleza y los hermosos recuerdos que les dejó. Su vida fue un regalo para su familia, y su legado continuará viviendo a través de las muchas generaciones que deja atrás.

Aunque ya no se encuentra físicamente con nosotros, el amor de Evangelina permanecerá siempre en los corazones de sus hijos, nietos, bisnietos, tataranietos y de todos aquellos que tuvieron la fortuna de conocerla. Será profundamente extrañada, recordada con mucho amor y atesorada por siempre.

Que descanse en paz, rodeada eternamente del amor que entregó tan generosamente durante toda su vida.

Evangelina Venegas Solis, affectionately known to many as “La Guera Borja,” passed away peacefully in Pampa, Texas, on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the age of 90.

Evangelina was born on November 3, 1935, in Terrazas, Chihuahua, Mexico. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and a treasured presence in the lives of all who knew her.

Evangelina was united in marriage to the love of her life, Jose Venegas Guerrero Sr., in Juarez, Mexico. Together, they built a life centered around family, love, and countless memories that will continue to be treasured for generations to come. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband.

Evangelina leaves behind a beautiful family who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. She is survived by her children, Irene Pena, Martha Leal, Maria Elena Loera, Jose Venegas Jr., Lorenzo Venegas, and Juan Antonio Venegas. She was blessed with 21 grandchildren, as well as numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

Her family will remember her not only for the years she shared with them, but for the love, strength, and memories she gave them along the way. Her life was a gift to her family, and her legacy will live on through the many generations she leaves behind.

Though she is no longer with us, Evangelina’s love will remain in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and all those fortunate enough to have known her. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.

May she rest peacefully, surrounded by the love she gave so generously throughout her life.
