Everardo Guadalupe Leal Jr., 23 of Amarillo, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. Everardo was born February 17, 2000 in Amarillo, Texas to Everardo Guadalupe Leal and Martha Olivia Pina-Guerrero. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 2300 South Spring St., Amarillo, TX 79107. Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, January 29, 2024 at New Life Outreach Ministries, 406 Pittsburg St., Amarillo, TX 79104.

Everardo attended Forest Hill Elementary, Travis Middle School and Palo Duro High School. He was a faithful member of St. Laurence Catholic Church. He played football in school and was an avid San Francisco 49ers and Nebraska Cornhuskers fan. Everardo loved many things in life but nothing more than his family, especially his precious daughter, Khamila and his beautiful wife, Nina. He was an amazing father, son and brother who always put Khamila and everyone else first in life. Everardo was funny, energetic and had a love for animals; especially Rottweilers and birds. He enjoyed grilling, cooking out with family, going to the river, driving his four wheeler and Razor, and fixing up his truck. He loved being outside and dancing. Everardo was married to Nina Phimphilavong and together they shared a beautiful daughter, Khamila Phimphilavong- Leal.

Everardo was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ramiro Pina and his paternal grandfather, Jesus Leal.

He is survived by wife, Nina; a daughter, Khamila; his parents, Everardo and Martha; three siblings, Jesus Leal, Alexis Leal and Edwin Leal; his maternal grandmother, Ramona Guerrero; his paternal grandmother, Thomasa Leal and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
