Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Ezekiel Almazan, who left us far too soon at the age of 18. Born and raised in Amarillo, Ezekiel faced challenges that many of us could hardly imagine. Battling illness for much of his life, he encountered adversity with a strength that inspired everyone around him.

Ezekiel was the loudest voice in any room, and his laugh was downright contagious. He had a smile that could light up even the darkest days, and he brought joy to everyone he met. His love for family and friends was unparalleled; he cherished the moments spent with those he cared about most.

A true gamer at heart, Ezekiel loved to dive into new worlds through video games, often bringing his friends along for the adventure. You could always find him jamming to his favorite tunes, letting the music take him away. A charming soul, he had a special way with the ladies, always showing his gentle and caring side.

He is survived by his parents, Monica Almazan and Israel Vega; his 2nd mama, Reyna Aguero; brothers, Iziah Almazan, Abriel Westmoreland, Nate Vega, Joseph Vega, Isaac Vega, and Israel Vega; sisters, Erika Villagrana, Sicily Almazan, Rita Salazar and Estrella Vega; nieces and nephews, Zayla Almazan, Mesiah Cardenas, Aileen Lombrana, Adriel Lombrana, Angel Vega, Emiliana Vega, Masiah Vega and Nina Vega and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends left to cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and great grandparents; sister, Marina Vega and brother, Julio Mendez.
