Francisco "Frankie" D. Lopez, 43, of Hereford passed away on October 6, 2024.

Frankie was born on May 2, 1981 in Lubbock to Eliverto and Oralia Lopez. He moved to Hereford as a child, where he graduated from high school in 2000. He married Elena Constancio on November 4, 2005. Frankie worked as a mechanic for several years at Terry's Automotive before working as a truck driver for Farmers Feed, Forerunner Ag and later BWT.

Frankie was the type of person who liked you if he liked you and if he didn't he didn't mind if you knew it. His family sometimes referred to him as grumpy, but loving. Those he loved, he loved them with all of his heart. His son, Josiah and grandson, Ivan were his world and he loved nothing more than time with them. He was an avid 49ers fan and enjoyed watching racing, street outlaws and old vintage cars.

He is survived by his son, Josiah Lopez and wife Kristal Hernandez of Hereford; grandson, Ivan Lee Lopez; wife, Elena Constancio Lopez of Hereford; 4 sisters, Esmerelda Lopez of Amarillo, Aurora Baca and husband Alfonso of Hereford, Delia Martinez and husband James of Hereford and Alice Lopez of Arlington; 3 brothers, Cheyenne Lopez of Lubbock, Hector Lopez and wife Felipa of Ackerly and Israel Lopez and wife Annette of Hereford; 27 nieces and nephews as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Daniel Lopez and Jesse Lopez and a nephew, Ivan Aaron Lopez.
