Gary was born on July 23, 1958 in Battle Creek, MI. He was raised throughout Michigan, where he attended schools. He met Sharon Rasnake in Michigan before moving to Amarillo in 1974 and they were married in 1976. Together they enjoyed riding motorcycles and taking many memorable trips with their family throughout the US. Gary began A-1 Garage Doors in 1998 in Amarillo. Through his business, he met many great customers and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Hoard of Amarillo; son, Ryan Hoard and spouse Denise Bynum of Amarillo; daughter, Michelle Hoard of Amarillo; 4 sisters, Becky Dean and Marsha Fry of Michigan and Pam Vigil and Kim Sherwood of Amarillo; 4 brothers, Victor Millirans, Benji Millirans, Bryan Millirans and Robin Millirans, all of Michigan and 2 grandsons, Ryan Hoard and Cole Bynum of Amarillo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Craig Millirans and Doug Millirans and sister, Christina Barrus.
