It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George Simmons on August 4th, 2025, at the age of 49. George was born February 10th, 1976 to Dale and Delores Simmons.

When George was growing up, he was active in sports. Baseball was his favorite sport growing up, but later developed his love for golf. He started working at pro shops and taught golf lessons. During working and giving lessons, at various golf courses, he was working on obtaining his PGA Professional certification. He later earned his Pro status, which he was very proud of.

George is proceeded in death by his parents. He is survived by his aunt, Debbie Dayhoff (Mark) of Clovis, NM; his uncle, Randy Simmons (Jyl) of Show Low, AZ; and many beloved cousins.

George had touched so many hearts; he had so many friends that loved and respected him. The family would like to send out a heartfelt thank you to all the friends that reached out with their prayers and support. His absence will be deeply felt.
