Glenda was born on September 6, 1948 in Goree, TX to Lewis and Coleen Hutchins. She married the love of her life, Jerry Van Arant on September 14, 1992. Glenda worked as an accounting clerk most of her career. In her free time, she enjoyed spending quality time with her family.

She is survived by her husband Jerry Arant of New Deal; daughter, Tonya Fulford and Shannon Little; son, James Redwine; sister, Mary O'Dell; 3 brothers, David Hutchins, Gary Hutchins and Richard Hutchins; 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Lewis Wayne Hutchins, Billy Don Hutchins and Jerry Hutchins.
