Obituary

He was born on September 11, 1961 in Indianapolis, IN. He was raised by his grandma, Mabel Cole, everyone called her Mamacita. They lived with his aunt, uncle, and cousins. Harry was very intelligent and loved to read, especially about history. He was also filled with endless trivia facts and loved watching Jeopardy. He read an abundance of comics and had a dry sense of humor. He was very patriotic, and the National Anthem meant a lot to him. He loved our Veterans. When he was 17 years old, he wanted to join the Air Force with a friend, but Mamacita would not sign for him to do so.

Harry was known as Pete to family, a nickname his grandpa gave him as a child. He and his family
moved here to Amarillo, TX in the late 70's. Where, he supported his Mamacita and worked
construction, which he continued to do in all aspects of homes. He also was a cabinet maker and could build anything out of wood. In his younger days, one of his favorite hobbies was building model cars and playing strategy games. He and his wife, Deanna met when they were both 16 years old. He called her "his girl" even in his last days. He had a great singing voice and would often sing to Deanna. He loved the Beatles and Led Zeppelin, but also numerous other guitar players and blues music. He was a very passionate, funny, and kind hearted man. Harry loved the Lord and often prayed with his wife, Deanna. He enjoyed surfing all of the streaming services and eating! He will be missed so much by his family. He will always be Deanna's first love and best friend.
