Harvey Lee Jackson, 67, of Amarillo, died on Friday, July 17, 2026 at his home. He was born on Monday, September 29, 1958 in West Virginia to the late Jeff and Goldie Jackson.

Harvey was a heavy equipment operator for 40 years doing asphalt road construction. He attended Grace Church. He was very close to his daughter, Mary, and any time Mary had questions growing up, she sought out Harvey's wisdom, advice and permissions. Harvey was truly a "Girl Daddy" and Mary's sunshine!

He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Jackson in 2018; his sister, Gladys McCarty on April 7, 2006; sons, Richie McDonald in 1993 and Dennis Roberson in 1991.

Harvey is survived by his loving daughter, Mary McDonald, of Amarillo; a son, Randy McDonald of Amarillo; 16 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
