Hunter Handley, 27, of Amarillo passed away on March 18, 2024.
Hunter was born on January 11, 1997 in Amarillo, where he attended Randall High School. On January 17, 2024 he married Neeley Handley. He enjoyed fishing, spending time in Red River, New Mexico and watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys. He was fearless and loved fearlessly. He loved spending time with family and friends, and was never afraid to show it. He truly never met a stranger and was always among the first to lend a hand. He greatly enjoyed music and could find a song for any occasion. He will be missed by all he came in contact with.
Hunter is survived by his wife, Neely Handley of Amarillo; step-son. Carson Guest of Amarillo; sister, Sienna Lopez and partner Tyler of Amarillo; parents, Ryan and DeAnn Handley of Amarillo and Jamie Adams of Canyon; brothers, Hayden Handley and wife Kirsten of Norman, OK, Hutson Handley of Canyon, Cody Lopez and wife Rian of Amarillo and Ethan Handley of Amarillo; grandparents, Reuben and Susan Day of Amarillo, Mike and Karen Handley of Burneyville, OK and Johnny Downs of Pampa; nieces, Brilynn, Madilyn, McKenna, Clover and Mia; nephew, Draven; aunts, Brandi and Annie; uncles, Jake, Chris, Jason and Jeremiah; Brenner, Jarren and numerous other cousins and extended family and his best four-legged friends, Bane, Rodney and Duane.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Brenda Downs and great grandparents, Margaret and Radford Colson.
