It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Iris Grubbs, who left us on November 28, 2025. Born in Amarillo, TX, to Alvie and Harlene Morris, Iris led a life full of compassion and dedication. Before she pursued her nursing degree, she worked at a prison, where she always found ways to connect with others. Once she became a nurse, she truly flourished, caring for the elderly with the kind of love and patience that only she could give.

Iris was an amazing mother to her children, and a doting grandmother who cherished every moment spent with her grandkids. Family was everything to her, and those moments spent reading with loved ones or just enjoying each other's company brought her immense joy.

She is survived by her children, Danielle Sandoval, Pamela Grubbs and Jacob Sandoval; sisters, Veneta, Sally, Glenda and Trudy; brother, Troy and her grandchildren, Drago, Alejandro, Caspian and Mela.
