Jackie Wayne Smith Sr known lovingly as"Jack" or "Papple" has gone to be with the Lord on March 8th, 2026, just 8 days before his 85th birthday. Born on March 16th, 1941 in Amarillo Texas. He spent most of his life in Amarillo leaving an indelible mark on everyone fortunate to know him.
He married the love of his life, Brenda, on December 18th, 1964.
He is survived by his wife Brenda, lovingly known as "Maws". Two sisters Dorothy Fowler, and Jeffy Taylor. His son, Jackie Wayne Smith Jr, and wife Rita. His daughter, Sonja Jeanine Smith and husband Chub. Multiple bonus children Di Lamar, Joseph Kratchovil. Grandchildren, Nichole Potter and husband Wade, Heather McKinnon and husband Ron, Jackie wayne Smith III "Tres" and wife Caitie, Oakley Jeanine Smith and multiple great-grand children.
He is proceed in death by his father, Reeves Albert Smith; his mother Kate Byrd Smith, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Papple is known for his quick wit, kind heart and engaging conversational skills.
