James Daniel Marlow, age 62, passed away on July 26, 2025. Born to Jean and Ron Marlow on April 29, 1963, he attended Ridgecrest, Crockett and later Amarillo High School. There, he met Gina Weathers his first year. They dated for seven years and were married in November of 1985. Jim had many talents that kept him busy personally and professionally. He taught black and white photography and the art of processing and printing at Amarillo College. He went on to develop a small engine technology course and was successful teaching his passion as well.
Jim attended Amarillo College and Wayland Baptist University with the intention to continue teaching. He got busy with life, family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Gina Marlow; sister, Andrea Kuehn and husband Charlie; father-in-law, Ron Weathers; sister-in-law, Jana Satterfield and husband Gary; brother-in-law, Garland Weathers and wife Susan and many nieces and nephews, who enjoyed hanging out with Uncle Jim and Aunt Gina.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ronda and his grandmothers.
They say you can tell how rich a man is by how many friends he has, Jim and Gina were well blessed.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date.
