Jared Don Koontz "Gork" was born on June 13, 1972 in Amarillo to Allen "Big Deek" Koontz and Becky Lincoln-Koontz. Jared was a soft-hearted junk yard dog, loved cars, had passion for classic rock music.
Jared was a beloved son, father, brother and friend whose unique spirit and genuine heart touched the lives of many.
Jared is preceded in death by his father "Big Deek", his brother Joey Allen Koontz "JAK" his grandparents Wayne and Joyce Koontz.
He is survived by his mother Becky Edward, His brother Joseph Koontz and one sister Christy Reid, Three sons Tyler, Kyle and Dylan Koontz, Two grandchildren Jenella and Taytum Koontz and many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends that all love him dearly.
