Jason Edward Parnell, 42, of Amarillo passed away unexpectedly on June 6, 2024. The family will hold private services at a later date.

Jason was born on December 23,1981 in Pasadena, TX. He moved to Amarillo, where he worked for Mitchener Transport, driving over 1 million miles, until his retirement. Jason was always conscientious of others and held them as well as himself to a higher standard. He loved his collectable cars and trucks and was gifted mechanically. Jason loved his family and friends immensely and wanted to make sure they were cared for.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Bush of Schenectady, NY; father, Donald Parnell of Florida; sister, Rachel Parnell of Athens, GA and aunt, Diane Bradbury of Schenectady, NY; his aunt Linda Lowry Parnell of Friendswood, TX, his close friend, Bart Manning of Thomasville, GA and several other aunts, uncles and cousins as well as his many Mitchener Transport friends.
