It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Javier Perez, who left us on December 30, 2025. Born on June 24, 1987, in Dimmitt, Texas, Javier spent his childhood in Amarillo. He was a dedicated worker in the construction field for most of his adult life, where his hard work and quiet determination were always evident.

Javier was a unique soul - while he kept to himself, his loving and kind nature shone through in the ways he cherished his family. He had a special bond with his nieces and nephews, who he adored fiercely. Alongside his love for family, Javier had a passion for video games and an impressive collection of knives and swords that he proudly gathered over the years.

Javier's gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew him, but we find comfort in remembering the good times.

He is survived by his parents, Joel and Linda Lopez of Amarillo and Yolanda Perez of Olton; siblings, Teresa Alvarez and husband Jerry of Amarillo, Crystal Mendoza and husband Marco of Amarillo, Joelda Flores and husband Stephen of Amarillo, Lori Flores and husband Ramon of Lubbock, Anthony Perez and wife Katie of College Station, Eric Perez and wife Amber of Houston, Victor Perez of Plainview, Joel Lopez of Amarillo and Jonathan Lopez and wife Erika; grandparents, Juanita Hernandez of Amarillo, Maria Perez of Olton, Guadalupe Martinez of Olton, Enidina Gonzalez of Amarillo as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins left to cherish his memory.

Javier was preceded in death by his father, Rick Perez and grandfathers, Matias Hernandez and Domingo Perez.
