It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jennifer Busby, who left us far too soon on May 29, 2025, at the age of 43. Jennifer was a vibrant spirit, born on February 20, 1982, who brought joy and warmth to everyone around her.

A proud graduate of Highland Park ISD in 2000, Jennifer went on to earn her Master's Degree in Education from WT University. For over a decade, she dedicated herself to teaching at Carver Elementary, inspiring countless students before transitioning into administration. Her passion for education was only matched by her zest for life.

Jennifer was truly one of a kind—a fun-loving, independent soul who was often the life of the party. A self-proclaimed 80's girl, she had a deep love for 80's music that brought her friends together for countless dance parties and roller skating. An animal lover at heart, Jennifer was never without her loyal companion Gus Gus, and her love for horses was equally as strong.

Above all, Jennifer cherished her role as mom and "Lollie" to her beloved children and grandchildren. Her big heart and all-in approach to relationships made her a cherished daughter, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a steadfast believer who relied on his strength daily, even through the most challenging days, she stood firmly on the promises of God.

She is survived by her beloved dog and partner in crime, Gus Gus; her daughter, Makayla Gleaves and fiancé Antaun Turner of Amarillo; 2 sons, Dawson Gleaves and fiancé Brooke Trayler of Amarillo and Bryceson Gleaves of Amarillo; parents, Pastor Buzz and Earlene Busby of Amarillo; 2 sisters, Misty Warren and husband James of Amarillo and twin sister, Heidi Harrah and husband Terry of Belton, TX; brother, Cody Busby and wife Brooke of Canyon; 2 grandchildren, Aurey and Tru Turner; 2 nieces and 4 nephews and her best friends, Jaymie, Rose, Ali and Lacey along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.
