Jerry LeRoy Thorn passed away in Amarillo, TX on Saturday, March 29, 2025. Jerry was born on January 29, 1959 to Billy Harold and Wanda June Robinson Thorn. He attended Caprock High School. He was mechanically inclined and could fix just about anything. He loved to work on cars and motorcycles, work in the yard and spend time in his shop. He enjoyed family gatherings, watching football, spending time with his grandchildren and visiting with his many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Rebecca Ann Hartwell; two brothers, Billy Ray Thorn and Marvin Wayne Thorn; a nephew, Cody Wayne Thorn; two great-nephews, Mason Young and Blake Young and a sister-in-law, Jennifer Thorn.

Jerry is survived by his children, LaTasha Hernandez, Melissa Grimsley, Justin Grimsley and Shawn Grimsley; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
