Jody Ann Edgar (Prunier), beloved mother, aunt, and sister, passed away on Sunday, January 14th, 2024 at her home in Amarillo, Texas. She was 52 years old.
She is survived by her son Daniel Edgar, her daughter Caitlin Jones, and her son David Dewayne (DJ) Ford Junior. Preceding her in death were her parents Linda Ann Oldfield Prunier and John Edward Prunier. Her brothers include Dwane Escobedo, Ric Escobedo, and John Prunier. Her sisters include Susanna Emery, Christina Prunier, and Cindy Collard. Her nephews include Toni Rynerson, Noah Escobedo and Emmett Escobedo. Her nieces include Nikki Collard and Jenna Escobedo. Jody was born on the 7th of March, 1971 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She accepted Jesus Christ as her lord and savior at a young age.
In 1984, she moved to Riverside, California, where she attended Poly High School and later Arlington High School in Woodcrest, California. She gave birth to her first son, Daniel in 1991, and her daughter Caitlin, in 1995, both in Riverside. Her second son, DJ, was born in 2013 in Texarkana, Texas. She found joy in family moments and cherished raising her children. Huntington Beach and Long Beach held special places in her heart for the lasting memories she created with those she loved. She meant everything to her children, and her children meant everything to her. She will forever be held in the highest regard for all that she was, is, and persists to be, and will be missed dearly by all who survive her.
