It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Rogers, who departed this life on October 19, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on March 3, 1958, John was a loving father, cherished grandfather, and a devoted friend to many.

John is preceded in death by his beloved parents, John Edward Sr. and Virginia Rogers, as well as his brother, Jefferey Eugene Rogers, and his aunts, Wanda and Laura Rogers. He is survived by his daughters, Hannah Rogers and Johnna Rogers, and his granddaughter, Keyasia Rogers-Sillemon, who will forever hold his memory dear in their hearts.

A man of many passions, John had a profound love for old rock music, which always resonated in his home. He found joy in landscaping, transforming his surroundings with beautiful plants, and reveled in the tranquility of hiking. An adept handyman, John took pride in fixing things—whether it was working on cars or finding creative solutions to everyday problems or playing video games. Above all, he treasured the time spent with his grandchild and his daughters.

Funeral services will be held in honor of John Rogers on Saturday November 8th 2025, at 10:00AM, at The Loft Church. Friends and family are invited to join in celebrating his life and the impact he had on all who knew him. A reception will follow the service.
