Joseph (Joe) Arthur Garnet, 61, of Amarillo passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024.

Joe was born on August 12, 1963 in Bourne, Massachusetts to Robert and Lois (Phelps) Miller.

He was a trusted quality Painting Contractor in Amarillo for 45 years. You could always count him to be
pulling pranks and to give you a good laugh. He loved old western shows, fishing, and
Barbecuing. He was a great Dad, Husband, Brother, Uncle, and Grandpa. He greatly adored his
granddaughters and they adored him. Joe would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need
and was always helping people.

He is preceded by his Mom (Lois Phelps) and his Sister
(Michelle Hall).

He is survived by his sons, Michael Garnet and Joe Garnet; his two brothers, Daniel and David; a sister, Melody; two granddaughters Willow and Avery, his Wife Michelle and many nieces and nephews. Joe did not want to have a service so if you would like to honor him, please just go out and help someone in need.
