Obituary

Joseph was born on September 4, 1976 in Bremerton, WA. He moved to Plainview as a child, before settling in Canyon, where he graduated from Canyon High School in 1995. He then began his career as a truck driver, working at Sims Trucking and later self-employed for close to 15 years. He was an avid horse enthusiast, racing horses, cutting and roping. Joseph was a talented woodworker and metal worker, making many things including spurs. He loved listening to loud music, and enjoyed country western dancing. He will be missed by his many friends and family.

Joseph is survived by his mother, Naoma Koenig and husband Leo of Amarillo; 2 daughters, Brianna Wren and husband Nathaniel of Dallas and Reesey Leal and husband Kobe of Clayton, NM; son, Tyler Wayne Ramsay and wife Abbygale of Canyon; brother, Jeremy Vancleave and wife Amy of Canyon; 3 grandchildren, Tinley Leal, Jonathan Leal and Hadley Ramsay; aunts and uncles, Jane Durham and husband Grady of Belton, Janet Griffin of Colmesneil, TX and Michael Vaughan and fiancé Sloane of Tampa, FL and several cousins and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his brother, Joshua Ramsay.
