It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce Morgan, who left us peacefully on February 16, 2026, at the age of 79. Joyce was born on December 16, 1946, in Socorro, NM, to Delmer and Wynona Davis, raised with 8 sisters and 3 brothers. She moved to Clovis, NM, as a child and proudly graduated from Clovis High School in 1964.

Joyce found her soulmate in Philip Morgan, and they tied the knot on Valentine's Day 43 years ago. Together, they built a beautiful life, starting in Clovis before moving to Hillsboro, TX, for over seven years, and eventually settling in Amarillo, TX.

Throughout her life, Joyce took on various jobs, showcasing her resilience and work ethic. From customer service to waitressing and even driving a bus, she did it all with a smile. She had a zest for life that shone brightly, especially when it came to her love of country music and dancing during her younger days. In later years, you could often find her sipping coffee and playing games on her phone, relishing those quiet moments.

Joyce leaves behind her loving husband, Philip Morgan of Amarillo; her children, Allan Martin and wife Dori of Nadine, NM, Charmin Skaggs and husband Phil of Jal, NM and Cody Martin and wife Miki of Amarillo; 9 grandchildren, Matthew Martin, Morgan Davis, Cheyenne Martin, Lark Townsend, Dakota Davis, Austin Martin, Faith Martin, Lance Martin and Tristan Martin as well as 9 great grandchildren and one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Michael Martin.
