It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Kaitlyn Wallace, who departed this world on April 10, 2026, at the tender age of 26. Born on April 9, 2000, Kaitlyn was a vibrant and deeply caring individual whose spirit touched the lives of many. She was the beloved daughter of Anna and Gene Wallace and a cherished sister to her brother John Clements and his wife Analicia. Kaitlyn also leaves behind her adored niece Inez and nephew Ian and aunt Sandy Palhamus and uncle Mike Kirkland.
Kaitlyn's life, though far too brief, was filled with passions that showcased her zest for existence. A proud graduate of Amarillo High School in 2017, she was a devoted member of the Latin Society and the school choir, where her love of music shone brightly. A self-described old soul, Kaitlyn found joy in rollerblading, hiking, and collecting crystals, often retreating to the mountains that she cherished. Her profound connection with nature was mirrored in her empathy towards others; she had an exceptional ability to feel the emotions of those around her.
Kaitlyn had a spirited interest in martial arts and a boundless love for animals, which reflected her nurturing nature. She was known for her intelligence, insight, and the warmth she brought to every conversation. Above all, Kaitlyn had an immense capacity for love, as she enveloped the people in her life, including her partner Gabe, with genuine affection and understanding.
Kaitlyn is preceded in death by her sister Cinnamon Wallace, her grandparents Zonia Grund and Ed Grund, and her grandfather Joe Kirkland. The loss of Kaitlyn leaves a void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Friends and family are invited to honor Kaitlyn's memory at her Celebration of life services, which will be held on April 17, 2026 at 7:00PM at Starlight Canyon 100 Brentwood Rd, Amarillo, TX 79118.
